Based on K15 VOERE developed S15 as a bigger brother chambered in 223 / 5.56 NATO weighting just under 2kg /4.3 lbs. The rifle features a, unique for a bolt action rifle, side mounted magazine for improved ergonomics over a conventional rifle design when shooting prone. Action cock-on-open 2 lug bolt, steel construction bolt action, , only 60° opening angle. Firing pin safety. Barrel: Carbon fibre reinforced barrel with attached muzzle brake. Ready for Picatinny rail or VOERE Q/D mount (same as LBW). Magazine 10-rounds capacity, will accept all Stanag type magazines. Synthetic stock with length adjustable butt plate and height adjustable cheekpiece, steep pistol grip, UIT rail in forend. Optional equipment: biathlon string, UIT-adapter, version with integrated silencer. |
