Designed for those on duty as sworn officers or who are duty bound to defend their home and family the MK-15 PURG Individual Duty Carbine provides a light, durable and reliable carbine. The PURG-IDC shares SWORD’s proprietary heavy-duty short stroke gas piston system which instills confidence of accuracy, reliability and durability with every round fired. SWORD’s light weight, ergonomically designed M-LOK compatible free-floating modular rail system allows the shooter to customize and configure lights, lasers, and grips to fit their individual needs while maintaining a low profile. PURG-IDC Set-up:

• Cold hammer-forged barrel with ultra-precise rifling.
• Nitride coated barrel for longevity and durability
• Mil-Spec flash suppressor.
• 1:8″ twist rate stabilizes bullets from 55 to 77 grains, and the 5.56 NATO chamber allows the use of both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem. ammunition. 
• M4 feed ramps provide improved reliability, and the matte black nitrided finish provides corrosion resistance. 
• Made from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum forging, the flat top upper receiver includes a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector, and is Type III hard-coat anodized for maximum durability. 
• Mono piston style bolt carrier 
• Also includes: one, 30-round magazine. 
• Lower receiver is fitted with Mil-Spec grip and Mil-Spec Carbine collapsible buttstock.
• Bolt is mil-spec 9310 and is machined and shot peened for strength and durability.
