Typical features of a Potzdam Musket: heavy steel rammer, brass furniture, heavy trumpet shaped ram rod thimbles, royal cypher on side plate, and sheet brass nose band.

These muskets were unusual, as they had both front & rear sights for a smoothbore barrel.
