The Matchlock Musket is a plain barrel weapon with an open ignition pan and fuel fuse. It became popular by the end of the 15th century, until the middle of the 18th century when the gentleness of its trigger was used for target shooting. This is a replica of an English musket which has a walnut breech that dates back to 1620. It has steel fittings and barrel. Its matchlock is retractable. Barrel: plain interior. Guards: iron.
