It is a replica of the Military English pistol with flintlock; it is called Light Dragoon. It is used by officers and considered a classic gun in the history of weapons. It is smaller than the Heavy Dragoon and it became popular in the late 18th century and early 19th century. Its real shape, weight and functionalism are reproduced in its construction. It is made of walnut wood, bronze polished brass fittings and the rest is made of steel. In Argentina it was brought by the English troops during the invasions in 1806 and 1807; in the U.S.A it was popular in the War of Independence. |
