The K3 is inspired by the FN Minimi and the United States-issued M249 Squad Automatic Weapon. It is lighter then M60. The barrel has a built-in carry handle for ease of changing the barrel. Muzzle velocity is 960 m/sec. Effective range 800 meters, maximum range is 3,600 meters. It can use belt magazines with 200 rounds or detachable box 30 rounds steel magazines. Rear sight is adjustable in windage and elevation. Range selector is adjustable for 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 and 1,000 meters. Quick changable spare barrels ensures continous firing for long period. K3 can be mounted on tripod. Adjustable bipod can be folded under the hand guard. Butt plate equipped with shoulder rest to hold the weapon more easily while firing from the shoulder. K3 is gas operated, with a rotating bolt. |
