The CZ 557 Lux II. is once again a rifle with a cylindrical push feed bolt, walnut stock and mechanical sights. However, the trigger mechanism is equipped with a single set trigger, activated by pushing the trigger forward. At the same time, the basic trigger is still of high quality and adjustable. In addition, the STT trigger pull weight is adjustable too. In place of the “mainstream” medium length barrel, the Lux II. has a cold hammer forged barrel that is 610 mm long to allow the user to fully exploit the potential of each grain of powder in the cartridge. The barrel profiles have been based on the tried and tested CZ 550 model series, renowned for their exceptional accuracy.
