The ČZ 2000 is a prototype selective-fire, gas-operated, rotating bolt weapon system in 5.56×45mm NATO caliber, consisting of a standard rifle, carbine and light machine gun. It was designed by Bohuslav Novotný in 1991. The CZ-2000 weapon family had 30-round magazine, made of translucent polymer. They could also use 75-round drum magazine. It was to be the new service weapon of the Czech Army |
