It offers 4x magnification particularly suited for use on armored vehicles for observation and targeting in day and night. URANIA is fully tested according to international standards for armored vehicles. The system uses a uniquely designed ICMOS sensor for night vision that includes an image intensifier tube coupled to an optimized global shutter CMOS sensor, resulting in unique optical performance.
