The Umarex Surge Max air rifle features the Nucleus Rail mounting platform integrated directly into the stock. This Nucleus system incorporates the convenience of a mil-spec Picatinny rail with a cover that reduces sound and vibration. What does that mean for you? The external vibration and sound generated by the breakbarrel action is efficiently absorbed and distributed through the rifle preventing damage to your scope during the shot. Plus it adds a whole new tactical look to the airgun.

The SurgeMax also utilizes Turbo Nitrogen Technology (TNT). The TNT gas piston delivers smooth and consistent cocking effort, and helps to generate up to 1200 fps (with alloy pellets).

The attractive, ambidextrous all-weather synthetic stock has a thumbhole stock and sports a tactical appearance. It has an automatic safety, fiber optic sights and includes a 4x32 scope. And with the Nucleus Rail, mounting that scope is a breeze.
