Meet the Typhoon 12 Shotgun. Hurricane Butterfly Manufacturing based outside of Seattle, WA had a vision to create a magazine-fed, short pump-action firearm based on the Remington™ 870 offering unparalleled reliability, real function and tactical advantage. This 18.5″ barrel pump-action shotgun is incredibly versatile for a multitude of applications with the familiarity of the proverbial Remington™ 870 controls. Additional polymer or steel magazines are available for purchase through Hurricane Butterfly.

Typhoon-12 Standard Features  The fire control group and action controls are nearly identical to the recognizable Remington 870 with some practical and effective modifications:

• The safety catch is located behind the trigger guard on the frame and the extended, widened and curved action bar lock is perfectly located forward of the trigger guard making it highly accessible.
• The magazine release latch is situated low on the rear of the magazine well behind the attached magazine, just forward of the trigger guard and action bar lock.
• The receiver is drilled and tapped with an 11-slot Weaver rail attached for the convenience and simplicity of adding optics.
• The Typhoon-12 boasts the added convenience of feeding from removable magazines for faster, easier reloading / unloading,  increased capacity without added magazine tube length, easy transitions between types of loads (using designated magazines), and great versatility for home security, tactical, competitive, and many other applications.
