The Type 81 SR is an short-medium range marksman version of the Type 81 rifle family. These offer an economical alternative to an SVD/PSL with a medium range caliber that is softer and more economical to shoot. The rifle was designed with a number of changes over the standard Type 81 to support its role including:
• Heavy profile barrel for increased
accuracy
• Thumbhole stock for better
ergonomics in precision shooting positions (including reversible cheekrest for
LH shooting)
• Flat bottom extended handguard for
more stability when shooting from rested surfaces
• 5 Round waffle-pattern magazine for
bench and prone shooting capability
• Threaded muzzle for attachment of
optional accessories
• Adjustable trigger stop screw for
added precision
• Lightened trigger pull weight for
added precision
Offered in deep blued finish over
satin-finish wood stock, with threaded receiver pins ready to accept side-mount
optics. Comes with one 5/5 magazine, oil bottle and manual. Flash hider and
scope not included. All parts and components are brand new production, not
surplus.

They
come sealed in polymer bags for long term storage/prevention against corrosion,
and are packed in foam cut-outs to prevent any damage during
transport. These can be supplied with side mounted PO 4x24 Scopes, or we
will have AK MasterMount Picatinny side mounts available in approximately 1
month’s time. We also have SR slings, additional spare magazines and a number
of muzzle devices available such as flash hiders, slant brakes and muzzle
breaks.
