This single stack 2011 pistol is a huge evolution over Browning’s classic 1911 pistol design. STI’s brand new Staccato R incorporates the same technology that is found in their 2011 Race Guns, that have won more championships than any other competition pistol in the world. Its steel frame and polymer grip module are designed to absorb and dissipate felt recoil, while reducing the total weight of the firearm. Finally after a year’s wait, the STI G2 Grips are installed on every Staccato R pistol that leaves the factory. Also this latest slim profile version incorporates FlaTec technology and is built with superior materials, craftsmanship and STI’s recoil absorbing grip module. Resulting in a more accurate controllable pistol, giving you the shooter the ability to put rounds on target were they count. STI’s Staccato R is available in both 9mm and .45 ACP, Built with a crisp 2.5 lb trigger this 2011 Race Gun and can also double as a self defense pistol. Outfitted with a 5 inch stainless steel bushing barrel, improved serrations and Finished off nicely in all black DLC. This Staccato R is sporting a fiber optic front sight and T.A.S II rear sight. Its fiber optic sight gives the shooter the ability to quick acquire the target, and put rounds on target under stressed situations.
