SIG SHR 970

The SIG ARMS SHR 970 rifle is a modern, short throw, bolt-action rifle, with an internal extractor and ejector. The modern take-down design allows for quick and precise barrel replacement and enables the user to perform routine maintenance without special tools. Manually operated, short throw, 65° turn bolt-action with front locking lugs engaging the barrel directly. The SHR 970 also has the option to interchange barrels to different calibers on the spot with minimal effort. A rugged ilaflon coating guarantees optimum rust protection and scratch resistance. Internal extractor and ejector. Trigger: Single stage, adjustable only by factory technician. Safety: Three (3) position sliding safety. Modern take-down design. Interchangeable barrel(s). 3 Position safety mechanism. 65° Short throw bolt. Bolt locks directly to the barrel. High-density synthetic or walnut stock. Hammer-forged barrel and chamber.
