The Varmint Series raises the bar on varmint-grade accuracy. Savage's evolutionary AccuTrigger™ lets you calibrate trigger pull weight all the way down to 6 oz. The Varmint Series features button-rifled, free-floating barrels and a variety of stock configurations. Select different rates of twist to help stabilise heavier bullets during long range shooting — a Savage exclusive.
The Model 12 BVSS is a 110 short bolt action repeater, with a four rounf capacity. The Model 12 BVSS boasts a brown hardwood laminate stock, with ambidextrous Wundhammer palm swell, and a satin finish.
The Model 12 BVSS also boasts the Savage AccuTrigger™ system - featuring a dual-stage trigger design; the first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism, allowing the second trigger to be depressed in order to activate the firing pin. The trigger assembly is also user-adjustable for weight of pull.
Additionally, the Model 12 BVSS is also drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
