Savage 10 Ashbury Precision Rifle

Savage joined forces with the long-distance gunnery gurus at Drake Associates to expand its Law Enforcement Series’ BA lineup of long-range chassis rifles with the new Model 10/110 BA Stealth. It teamed with Ashbury’s arsenal experts to create the Model 10 Savage Ashbury Precision Rifle. These new high-performance long-range rifles feature a custom look and feel that’s unlike anything else on the firing line. They are designed for serious shooters interested in testing their limits—whether that means extending their effective range another 100 to 300 yards, or joining the exclusive “one-mile club.” Accuracy has long been a Savage hallmark, and this latest crop of long arms cements the company’s credentials for delivering downrange precision. As a bonus to shooters on a budget, the new chassis guns yield stellar groups and sub-minute-of-angle performance matching that of custom-built guns costing far more than these factory-made masterpieces. To reach this pinnacle of performance, Savage dovetailed its high-performance firing systems into the industry-leading Ashbury chassis and Drake chassis made by MDT. Savage’s contributions to the effort include an extremely accurate trigger and stock, plus a floating bolt head and meticulous head-space control. For their part, the Ashbury and Drake frames are rock-solid, monolithic marvels machined from a single aluminum billet. Tackling a process typically performed by aftermarket gunsmiths, Savage goes the extra mile by performing secondary grinding on the action, bolt, bolt lugs, bolt lug recesses and recoil lug to make all of these individually forged surfaces a perfectly matched set. The modular, upgradeable and reconfigurable chassis features a double-locking, folding shoulder stock, along with an octagonal aluminum hand guard with M-LOK attachment system. The Model 10 Savage Ashbury Precision Rifle also features a Magpul MOE pistol grip and buttstock, 24-inch barrel with 5/8-24 threaded muzzle, and includes one Magpul PMAG AICS 10-round detachable magazine. The Model 10 Savage Ashbury Precision Rifle weighs 9.85 pounds. It has a 34 3-inch overall length (with side-folded buttstock), measures 43 3/8 inches with fully collapsed buttstock, and stretches out to 46 5/8 inches with the buttstock fully extended.
