Sauer S202 "Team SAUER"

The Team SAUER launched in 2006 could be nicknamed "Best of SAUER" as it reflects the experience of all SAUER partners worldwide. The Team SAUER attracted widespread attention last year for its successful combining of advanced technology, brilliant design and favourable price. The rifle is based on the S 202 Classic and offers legendary precision due to the 56-cm barrel (Magnum 60 cm) and 19-mm Heavy Medium or Magnum barrel contour. A fluted barrel adds visual appeal and improves the balance of last year’s rifle introduction. The SAUER Team decided to build on this success in 2007 with a new Team SAUER model. The new S 202 XT seamlessly follows the Team SAUER and is tailored for hunters who put their equipment to extreme use in challenging hunting grounds around the world. Based on the Heavy Medium and Heavy Magnum fluted barrels, this new XT Team rifle features a greatly functional MagLock magazine lock, high-contrast Forest sights and a scuffproof synthetic stock. The "Team SAUER XT" is also supplied with an aluminium receiver and integral Weaver rail. SAUER launches the XT in a package to gear it up for extreme demands including a high-quality rifle bag made of Cordura and a SAUER telescope shooting stick.
