The SAUER Synchro thumbhole stock offers previously unknown benefits in terms of aiming and trigger control for hunting or in shooting matches. As the hand grips through the stock and can completely enclose the pistol grip while aiming, the wrist and shooting arm remain completely relaxed. At the same time, the forced positioning of the trigger finger means that it always comes to rest in the identical location on the trigger to ensure a smooth pull and minimise trigger errors. SAUER test series with a range of users from experienced marksmen to beginners make one thing particularly clear: the thumb-hole stock, which can also be retrofitted to all models of the S 202, leads to a higher proportion of on-target shots and particularly helps shooters who tend to flinch when shooting to considerably improve their shooting performance. Further features of the S 202 GTI designed to increase precision are its short, 51-cm barrel in heavy medium thickness (O: 19 mm) and a screw-mounted, detachable SAUER muzzle brake that reduces recoil energy by up to 30 per cent. Configurations – S 202 GTI. Light-metal receiver (also available in steel). Six lockings lucks engage directly into the barrel. Detachable magazine for 2 and 5 rounds.
