SAKO 85 SAFARI based on the Sako 85 long action L (Magnum). The ACTIONS continue to offer traditional SAKO 85 features such as: mechanical ejection; controlled feed; integral tapered scope mount rail and one-piece forged bolt. The fixed MAGAZINE with hinged floorplate holds 5 belted Magnum cartridges. Magazine latch is in front of the trigger guard. The single-stage TRIGGER pull is adjustable from 1 kg to 2 kg (2 to 4 lbs). The SAFETY features a mechanism that allows loading and unloading of the rifle with safety engaged. The classic style, straight, oilfinished STOCK is made of selected quality walnut with an ebony forend tip. Band type front swivel around the barrel in front of the forend. Special OPEN SIGHTS with quarter-rib type rear sight and band type front sight is adjustable for windage. Integral rails for the scope mounts are on the top of the receiver. The heavy BARREL is cold-hammerforged. |
