Sigma models are still made today. They were first S&W pistols with a polymer frame and safe-action. They were so similar to Glock designs that Glock sued Smith & Wesson and they settled the case out of court in 1997. With a very heavy trigger, carbon steel slides, and the barrels were completely coated in melonite. Short recoil (recoil operated). Double-action only firing mechanism.
