This M&P BODYGUARD 380 with internal Crimson Trace laser has no thumb safety - pistols retain original design features that have helped to establish the pistol as a leading choice for deep concealment and personal protection needs. Chambered for .380 AUTO, the lightweight pistols feature a high-strength polymer frame with a stainless steel slide and barrel. The slide and barrel on the M&P BODYGUARD 380 have been treated with a black Armornite finish for extended durability. Additional design features include a 2 3-inch barrel, which contributes to an overall length of 5 1 inches and an unloaded weight of less than 12.5 ounces. With its slim-line ergonomic grip, the pistol fits comfortably in the hand and points naturally. Additional features include a double-action fire control system, which allows for rapid second-strike capability. Adding to its simplicity, the M&P BODYGUARD 380 is standard with an external take down lever and slide stop. To help aid in quick sight acquisition, the pistol features stainless steel, drift adjustable dovetail sights.
