For traditionalists, we offer a new, slim American walnut stock with a soft, red recoil pad matched to a matte blued barrel and action. These rifles also feature a one-piece stainless bolt based on the rotating Mauser-type controlled-feed extractor - the most positive feeding and extracting system available. For more inclement engagements, the Hawkeye All-Weather® is offered with a black synthetic stock, recoil pad and matte finish stainless barrel and action. Both versions feature Ruger’s new LC6 trigger - the lightest,crispest bolt-action trigger we’ve ever offered - hammer-forged barrels and integral scope mounts.Scope rings are included.And let’s not forget the M77 Hawkeye’s new steel floorplate with a patented latch design that eliminates any chance of "dumping" your payload while hunting. Wood-stocked models feature a new American walnut stock with slimmer, more rounded profile with extensive, deep-cut checkering on the grip and wrap-around checkering on the forend. Hammer-forged, matte-finished blued alloy steel barrels (stainless steel on All-Weather models) for exceptionally consistent and repeatable accuracy. Solid-steel floorplate features engraved Ruger logo and patented latch for easy unloading without having to chamber each cartridge.
