Among the paper cartridge Sharps rifles (1859 & 1863 Models) you can find the Sporting model with octagonal barrel rust brown finish colour, adjustable front sight and set trigger, the Infantry and Cavalry models with blue round barrel, kept by bands, have fixed front sight and patchbox on the stock. Of the Infantry model there is also the Berdan version, equipped with double set trigger. All the models are equipped with graduated rear sight with sliding plate. |
