The cloth OncaTherm was developed by Onca for use as a base layer. We used material for our Oncatherm shirt, neck neck and Beanie. The fabric consists of polyester, elastomer and carbon fiber.
The main property of this tissue is the maintenance of body temperature. To do this, we used polyester fibers in combination with carbon fibers and elastomer to stay close to the body to avoid losing body heat.
Very comfortable material due to its elasticity, lightness, interior finish and odor lock function. Carbon fibers and ion processing of silver allow us to use camouflage when traveling, where it is important to have light in the package.
The aim of creating OncaTherm tissue is to maintain body temperature and high air permeability with a sweat capillary to keep us dry during hikes.
STABILITY OF THE BODY AND SNAG
Compared with other base layer fabrics on the market, our OncaTherm has a higher resistance to driftwood and tears. This is achieved by a dense structure of the outer fabric and high elasticity.
The fibers of the inside of the fabric are a combination of quick-drying polyester fibers and carbon fibers. This provides the fabric of OncaTherm with an ideal balance of heat, breathability and sweat.
All fabrics developed by Onca are in cooperation with Gocotex, SL and tested by the textile research institute Aitex.
