Non-reciprocating titanium charging handle eliminates the handle encountering obstructions which cause failure to eject and failure to feed. Absolutely no retraining needed for this platform, every function is designed to operate exactly as the M16/AR-15. Component interchangeability - The MPA300 platform is specifically designed to use aftermarket components such as Armalite and DPMS style forearms and buttstocks. Weight of the MPA300 Guardian is designed to duplicate the weight of the M110 yet has twice the range. With few exceptions, the MPA300 has all AR-15/10 internals, which means a ready supply of replacement parts. Only premium barrel blanks are used - Kreiger, Bartlien & Mike Rock. All barrels are contoured using an CNC machine. All barrels are chambered with Benchrest rifle building techniques to assure the chambers are perfectly aligned to the bore. All chambers are cut by hand. Crafted from certified 7075-T651 structural aircraft grade aluminum, MPA receivers are machined from plate. Forearm: Precision Reflex Inc. 308 AR Delta. Stock: Magpul PRS 7.62x51. Finish: Mil-spec Type III Hard Anodize. Thread pitch:5/8-24 tpi. |
