The Custom TLE/RL II (TFS) is chambered in both .45 ACP and 9mm. Designed for tactical duty carry, special military units and home protection, it is the first Kimber with an extended barrel threaded for suppression. Standard features include night sights, 30 lines-per-inch front strap checkering for a positive grip and the Kimber Tactical Rail for mounting accessories such as lights and laser sights. A thread protector cap protects the threads when a suppressor is not attached. Custom TLE pistols feature 3-dot (green) low profile night sights for enhanced performance in low light conditions. The front dot is brighter to encourage immediate focus on the front sight and beyond. Four new models with a threaded barrel are now available. Chambered in .45 ACP and 9mm, and with the option of the Kimber Tactical Rail, TFS (Threaded for Suppression) pistols include a thread protector cap. All Custom TLE pistols feature 30 lines-per-inch front strap checkering for a positive grip and greater control regardless of moisture or environmental conditions. Frames are carefully machined from the finest steel or stainless steel. |
