KBP GSh-18.

The modern GSh-18 combat pistol combines large magazine capacity, powerful cartridge and extremely light weight. 7N31 AP cartridges ensure body-armor penetration. Trigger action with additional cocking of mainspring and auto¬matic safety catch guarantee safe handling with a cartridge in the chamber, thus it is enough to pull off the trigger for firing. GSh-18 is a recoil-operated, locked breech pistol. It uses short recoiling barrel that rotates to lock and unlock from the slide. The weapon design provides for easy firing by right-or left-handed firer. Ejection port is located at the top of the slide with ejection straight up and to the back. Triger is striker fired just like in Glock pistols. Rustproof plastic frame makes the pistol lighter. The pistol can be fitted with a laser designator. Cartridge: 9x19 mm with armor-piercing bullet, designation 7N31; 9x19 mm Parabellum (Luger).
