The Huglu 200A is a side-by-side double-barreled shotgun using Greener locking, a single locking lug, and a transverse bar, and has a very strong action. This type of action is also not often used these days since it is labor-intensive to produce. The barrels are, as with most Huglu shotguns, internally hard-chromed, and can be had with fixed chokes of Full or 1/4 or a set of interchangeable chokes. The barrel rib may be recessed or raised at the customer’s preference. The Huglu 200A has a single selective trigger, with the barrel selector/safety on the neck of the stock. The breech block is machined from a single block of steel, and is either finished bare or blued to a black finish. The stock is of Turkish walnut with a raised cheek plate; left-handed versions are available.
