H&K HK45.

The full size HK45 is one of Heckler & Koch’s most recent pistols designs and was developed as a product improvement of the highly regarded and ultra reliable HK USP45 first introduced in the 1990s. The HK45 was also poised to be a candidate for the Joint Combat Pistol (JCP) and Combat Pistol (CP) programs administered by the U.S. military in their search for a new service handgun. In addition to the normal features found on the HK45, the colored frame/colored slide models have an attractive and durable Cerakote slide coating that is color matched to the polymer frame. Cerakote ceramic firearms coatings outperform other coatings and have been extensively tested by independent labs and the U.S. Military. Aside from corrsoion protection, the HK Cerakote slide coating is abrasion resistant. HK metal parts that are not color coated, remain in an attractive contrasting black finish, protected by HK’s proprietary “Hostile Enforcement” protective surface covering. Well-suited for personal defense and a wide variety of security and civilian/commercial applications, these colored frame /colored slide models are available in, or can be converted to HK’s different trigger firing modes.
