The HK33 was the natural development of the G3 to accommodate the 5.56mm round; something HK obviously needed to do in order to compete with the wide range of 5.56mm assault rifles available. It has found favour with many specialist military and police units including the SAS and our UK armed police. As well as being an effective assault rifle it is also a capable sniping weapon – particularly when fitted with a bipod and one of HK’s roll on/off scopes. This example is a UK produced variant in the A3 configuration with sliding/retractable stock. It comes with one 25 round magazines, R3/3 tactical sling and 10 inert 5.56 rounds. |
