The Compact Crossover pistol G45 in 9x19mm combines a compact slide with a full size frame and has all the benefits of a Gen5 model. Utilizing the design and engineering GLOCK developed for its military pistols (G19X), combined with Operator and worldwide Law Enforcement specifications. Glock G45 GEN 5 9mm Ameriglo Night Sights, combines the compact slide of a Glock 19 with the full sized frame of the Glock 17. Inspired by the military design of the the Glock 19X, the G45 will become the standard for law enforcement agencies. The GLOCK G45 also has the follow GEN 5 modifications: Glock Marksman Barrel: New rifling and crown deliver improved accuracy. Glock built the G45 with their new match-grade Marksman Barrel (GMB). The precision barrel, found on all Gen5 firearms, is crafted to even tighter specifications than the barrels on earlier gen models, producing better accuracy. To help protect the barrel’s lands and grooves, a recessed target-style crown caps off the tube. Ambidextrous slide stop levers: Both left-handed and right-handed gun owners can quickly, comfortably, and safely manipulate the slide. No finger grooves on the grip: Removing the finger grooves improves the ergonomics of the grip, delivering consistent comfort and improved control to a wider range of consumers, regardless of hand size. Flared mag-well: The larger opening found in the mag-well of GLOCK Gen5 pistols makes quicker and easier magazine changes possible, particularly in high-stress situations where fractions of a second matter. One of the most obvious changes on the G45 is the front slide serrations. These will certainly be appreciated by those that perform press checks obsessively, and will make life easier if optics are added. Weight (unloaded): 21.73 oz. w/o mag, 24.98 oz w/ empty mag.
