Thanks to its quick removal from infantry mount 6T20, 12.7 mm machine-gun on bipod 6T19 (index 6?57) provides firing from an unequipped emplacement on the ground, from a trench, installations, vehicles platforms as well as defeat of low-flying air targets at slant distances of up to 1500 m at any convenient positions of the gunner. 12.7 mm cartridges with bullets ?-32 (armor-piercing-incendiary), ???-44? (armor-piercing-incendiary-tracer) and ?? (armor-piercing-incendiary) are used for firing from the machine-gun.
