With no internal hammer the MK3's bolt has little to do except operate the rifles' 10 shot magazine and seat the pellet directly into the rifling, resulting in a bolt action which is under-stressed. Daystate supplies a special key with each Mk3, that when inserted in the switch housed within the rifles' trigger guard, immobilises the rifle and isolates the power. That power comes from a special rechargeable battery concealed in the stock and is capable of powering many thousands of shots. Add to this a choice of two walnut stocks, electronic safety catch, regulator, match trigger, automatic shot counting. Quick handling and stylish sports stock fitted to the latest "Lean Charge" version of the Mk3 electronic firing system. |
