Caracal CAR816 A2 Gas Piston Rifle

The CAR816 A2 is chambered in 5.56 x 45mm NATO. The short-stroke push rod gas piston design is controlled by an adjustable gas valve with three positions. Position one is for normal operation. Position two is for operation in adverse conditions, low impulse ammunition or when the system becomes fouled. Position three is for normal operation with an affixed suppressor and allows for reliable cycling of the action. The CAR816 A2 is now available to U.S. consumers in a semi-automatic configuration and ships standard with a 16” barrel. Proudly manufactured in the United States. Rifle exceeds the specifications of testing protocols, including catastrophic obstructed bore testing. CAR816 A2 rifle package includes a 2-point Quick Detach (QD) sling, flip-up front and rear sights, a Otis cleaning kit and one 30-round magazine. Equipped with a proprietary hand guard that allows user to configure rifle for any mission or purpose using the M-Lok attachment system. Upper receiver and hand guard provide a full length 1913 picatinny rail for direct mounting of optics and other accessories.
