Most of the O&U shotguns has recoil lugs milled into the bottom of the receiver so when recoil lugs wear out that they are no longer tightly together upon closing. Shotgun is not properly closed and that's why it is a dangerous to shoot shuch shotgun. Invictus on the other hand has replaceable trunnions that can be easily echanged with bigger ones once they are worn out. On the bottom of the receiver Invictus has block that keeps gun closed and when it is worn out block is easily exchanged with new one. That turns worn out Invictus in new tight shotgun in just few minutes of repair and two cheap parts. |
