The CDX-MC KRAKEN, is a multi-caliber rifle using an innovative (patent pending) barrel change system. This system is the only true no point of impact change between takedown and reassembly of the same barrel. Cadex CDX-MC is using traditional barrel to action threading system while incorporating a special tool designed to unscrew and torque its barrel from the breech side. Bolt action repeater. Heavy duty 1.550” custom grade action. 416 stainless action, bolt and barrel. Mirage mitigation technology fore-end. Multiple caliber group bolts (B, C, D). AICS style magazine compatible. 1.300” heavy barrel straight taper with barrel band and threaded muzzle for slip on suppressor or muzzle brake. Bartlein 5R single-cut rifling technology. 3 lug bolt with 60° bolt throw. Tool-free firing pin disassembly. Cerakote non-reflective paint.
