APO F/TR-308 Patriot

The F-Class Target Rifle (F/TR) in .308 Winchester, specifically built for NRA F/TR competition shooting. It’s built on APO’s new SABER SX octagonal bolt action receiver, and a Palma counter barrel 1-in-10” twist. The fire control mechanism is the new fully adjustable T7T developed by 11-time NRA National High Power Rifle Champion and 6-time National High Power Long Range Rifle Champion, David Tubb. The F/TR-308 barrel is a match grade, button rifled, 416R Stainless Steel Palma contour, hand crafted by a team of specially trained former USMC 2112 Precision Rifle Technicians. The 1-in-10" twist barrel is meticulously chambered in .308Win Match and finished with a recessed target crown. The F/TR chambers are precisely machined to a straightness of less than <0.0002 of an inch, true to the centerline of the barrel bore in APO's modern CNC-based ordnance shop. The F/TR-308 uses the latest innovation in the patented SABER®-FORSST® modular rifle chassis system (MRCS), a rigid interlocking action/chassis design. The F/TR precision rifle is ideal for new or experienced shooters that need a precision competition rifle platform with modular upgradeability, requiring minimal maintenance, that assures shooter comfort and delivers uncompromising accuracy. With the Leupold VX-6 7-42x56mm day optic and a Long Range Accuracy F-Class Competition bipod it weighs in a tidy 17.6lbs. Plenty of room to be under the 18+ pound weight limit for F/TR rifles.
