This experience has seen ZeroTech Optics tested from the vast arid floodplains of Australia and Africa, through to the treacherous snow-capped peaks of the southern fiords in New Zealand, and delivering repeatable reliability in the last frontier, Alaska. Founded in Australia in 2018, ZeroTech International Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of the largest optical supplier in the southern hemisphere. James Watkins enlisted in the US Army at the age of 18, prompted by the bombing of Pearl Harbor. James served in New Guinea and the southern Philippines as part of the Philippine Liberation campaign. After the war ended, James was discharged on 30th December 1945. James moved to Australia and founded TSA Outdoors, recognized as the largest precision optical instrument supplier in the southern hemisphere. Our optical knowledge and experience come from over three generations of optical manufacture and distribution. Since 1965, Tasco Sales (AUST) Pty Ltd (TSA) has been a major Australian supplier of optical systems across many industries. For over 50 years, TSA has proudly presented leading optical brands to the commercial and consumer markets. However, providing a range of accessible, high-quality rifle scopes was always a challenge. In 2018, TSA founded ZeroTech Optics to fill this gap. Focusing solely on providing high-quality, accessible, and precise rifle scopes that meet stringent Australian quality assurance requirements, ZeroTech rifle scopes were quickly adopted into the Australian shooting market. In 2020, ZeroTech went international, establishing a base in the US and distributing to our partners in the Americas, Europe, the United Kingdom, Africa, and South Pacific nations. Designed, engineered, and quality assured by our team in Australia, ZeroTech scopes deliver repeatable performance using precision turret systems and ZeroTech proprietary reticles suitable for a range of applications and environments. Recently, we’ve expanded our optical range to offer precision spotting scopes, binoculars, and reflex sights, all built with the same purpose in mind.
