The business adventure which was begun 30 years ago is going on without slowing down. We have not given up our customer focused business understanding. We have stepped forward without making any concessions on the general rules of commerce but in our customer relationships, we always put ourselves into our customer’s place.

Turaç is going on its services for its customers by its 70 employee, 17 person and 10 vehicles -marketing team and explosive production facility (11 building and 7000 m2 covered area) which is constructed on 440 decare land at Cankiri.

Our company exports its products to 48 different countries (Afganistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Colombia, Egypt, France, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Jordan, K.K.T.C., Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Libya, Lituanina, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan, Republic of Congo, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Sudan, Switzerland, Thailand, U.A.Emirates, Ukraine, Uruguay, U.S.A.) and carries out regional and Turkey distribution of 60 different brands from overall world. There are more than 10.000 different line items in its product range. We would like to express our gratitude to our dear friends and customers who have contributed us to reach these days.

HISTORY
• Turaç was established in 1987 and started to business in Ulus ANKARA as a licensed distributor of M.K.E (Government owned Turkish Machinery and Chemical IndustriesAssociation) and hunting equipment seller.

• In 1989, Turaç moved to Vakıf Iş Hanı and in the same year started to import hunting equipments. Turaç imported equipment from firms which are well known and leaderof their market. These firms are SKB Shotguns (Japan), ANTONIO ZOLI Shotguns (ITALY), FRANKONIA hunting accessories (GERMANY), MEC-GAR Magazine (ITALY), OMURGmbH Shotgun Accessories (GERMANY). Turaç continued to be only one licensed distributor of these companies in Turkey by years.

• In 1995, Turaç has opened a new branch on Tandoğan Meydanı Meydan Apt. No: 4/15 Çankaya ANKARA. This new branch enabled Turaç to provide better services tocustomers. In these years two of the Germany’s biggest factories UMAREX GmbH Blank Cartridges and Blank Pistols and DYNAMIT NOBEL GmbH Blank Cartridges and Shotshells have been joined to import portfolio of Turaç.

• In 1998, Turaç has opened another new branch which is retail shop on S.S.K Iş Hanı Kızılay ANKARA. This was the biggest hunting, fishing and camping equipment shop in the Turkey. MITCHELL (fishing tackles- FRANCE), SHIRSTONE (binoculars- JAPAN), TASCO (binoculars - A.B.D.), FRONT-LINE (holster- ABD), GALCO (holster- FRANCE) wereadded as new brands in our portfolio. Due to the big demand from retail shops Turac composed a distribution fleet of 2 trucks, to deliver all items to retail shops in Turkey in 1999.

• In 2000, after a year experience, all retail shops have been closed. Activities oriented mostly to marketing and whole selling rather than Retail.

• In 2002 – 2003, marketing fleet has been expanded to 4 trucks. In the meantime, Turaç started to distribute shot shells which can be called cornerstone of hunting market. Then, YAVUZCAN (M.K.E.), VEGAS (KKTC), ROTTWEIL (GERMANY), SAGA-STERLING (SPAIN) also added to inventory.

• In 2004-2005, we brought accessories importing into the forefront. On the blank pistols and blank cartridges, we gave priority to Turkish brands -BLOW, Y.A.F and Y.A.S- andwe were local distributor in Turkey for those brands.

• In 2005 – 2006, VOLTRAN SİLAH SAN. TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. (Blank Pistols) which is one the biggest blank pistols manufacturer in Turkey, has been added to our inventory andincreased product variation 174 more. Turkey’s first Blank cartridges that expose 450 Bar pressure from NEW VICTORY SPORT(BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA) has also beenimported by TURAÇ. WALTER brand binoculars, swords and axes started to be imported as additional to hunting and pocket knives. Camping and hunting accessories like flashand head lights, tents, sleeping bags, stoves, many kinds of hunting knives and fishing tackles have been introduced to customers. 25 different types of BB GUNS for paintball, 50 different types of confetties, 18 different types of pictures and 20 different types of trinkets that contain hunting and hunter figures, also introduced.
