Bolted inside the tyre, RunFlat Systems are designed to enable a driver to control their vehicle and drive on safely following ballistic or terrain-related tyre damage to one or more tyres.

When the tyre is fully inflated, the RunFlat systems has no effect on the performance or handling of the vehicle, however if the tyre becomes deflated, the RunFlat systen enables the vehicle to continue its journey with a flat tyre until its passengers and contents reach a safe place.
