Michigan Shooting Centers was established by Patrick Lieske in 2001. It was then that the Michigan Department of Natural Resources awarded Lieske, a renown sporting clays shooter and coach, the lease to Island Lake Shooting Range in Brighton. Eight years later, in 2009, Lieske added Bald Mountain Shooting Range in Lake Orion to his portfolio.

Pat has built his two ranges into Michigan’s most-trafficked public shooting ranges. Nearly half a million people visit our ranges each year.

To this day, we are a family owned and operated business with a strong passion for the shooting sports. The entire Lieske family – wife Karen, sons Drew and Gage and even Pat’s mother, Carol – can, from time to time, be seen pitching in at Island Lake and Bald Mountain.

We are dedicated to offering Michigan sportsmen the ultimate shooting experience. Our facilities are safe, clean and open to a wide range of guests. Whether you are a complete novice or a seasoned competitor, we’ve got something for you!
