Modern, three-dimensional CAD systems are used for the virtual modelling during the manufacturing process. Components which are subjected to large mechanical stresses are calculated by means of FEM (finite element method) and analysed scientifically. On modern CNC processing centres, prototypes, individual and serial components are produced. Highly technical materials and accuracy requirements demand the use of highly efficient and technologically-advanced machines. Electrical discharge machining is used in order to guarantee the exchangeability of the modular components.
