FAMAE was the first military products company in Chile, supporting the needs of National Defense for more than two centuries and a pioneer in the development of advanced technologies in products and services, both for military and civil use. For this purpose, the Factories and Masterships of the Army have five Industrial Maintenance Centers throughout the national territory: Arica, Pozo Almonte, Antofagasta, Talagante and Punta Arenas. Likewise, it has an extensive portfolio of products of its own development and manufacture, highlighting smaller caliber weapons, submachine guns and assault rifles for tactical use, in addition to all their maintenance. Similarly, it has production of smaller ammunition, demilitarized and recovery of larger ammunition, manufacture and certification of the extension of the useful life of rockets and missiles. That is, it has extensive capabilities that adapt to the needs and requirements of its customers.
