About Company

CASAS was founded in 2003 by Linda Moni to provide services in the security, investigations and defence industries. His desire to participate in this field was due to his lengthy involvement with military and police matters (since 1980), and his knowledge of the security and defence environment in the Republic of South Africa and around the world. The company supplies security requirements and investigations; which include policing and defence equipment, to several players requiring these services. CASAS has recently branched into the import and export markets and has traded items in several African states. Several opportunities have presented themselves for CSAS to participate in the export and import industry. This diverse company is currently erecting a plant for the manufacture of steel items to be used in the safe storage of items for international clients and banks. We are also negotiating with various OEMs for manufacture of certain calibre payload and projectiles currently not manufactured in South Africa CASAS is planning to branch into the export and import of various commodities to meet today’s security and intelligence requirements. CASAS has also established relationships with several major policing and defence equipment manufacturers in order to supply the market with equipment for their use for peaceful purposes. At present, the company is a forerunner in brokering and agency services for the above major manufacturers and their primary role is to assist foreign companies wanting to do business in South Africa, to navigate the various statutory requirements unique to South Africa such as the BBBEE laws, preferential procurement act, nip and dip etc. The above laws are imperative in addressing the injustices of the past and will remain in our statute books for some time, but should not be an impediment to development.
