Boker Knife-Manufactory. Innovative craftsmanship from Solingen since 1869.
Since 1869 the famous high-quality knives with the tree are produced in the manufactory of Heinr. Boker Baumwerk in Solingen, internationally known as the „city of blades“. In those days the small tool factory was dominated by an enormous chestnut tree which was chosen as the brand logo by the Boker family. Since the establishment of the company, not a single knife has left our production facilities in Solingen without this trademark.
The history of Boker Knife-Manufactory has been influenced by eventful times. Yet one aspect has always remained the same: passion and enthusiasm for exceptional knives. The Boker manufactory has the highest expectations of themselves, their knives and the way they are produced. Boker’s knife makers perform their work with high commitment to quality, innovative strength and great attention to detail. „Manu factum“ – each Boker knife in Solingen is handmade, whether it is a high-grade collector’s or hunting knife, top-quality kitchen knife or an extravagant razor.
Today, the Boker group has subsidiaries in Denver, USA and Buenos Aires, Argentina with a total of 120 employees. We are an internationally renowned manufacturer and supplier of unsurpassed diversity of materials for blades and handles: from elaborately hand-forged Damascus steel and innovative titanium blades to state of the art ceramic blades and handles made of carefully selected exotic woods.
