Benel was founded in 1990 as an importer and wholesaler of photostudio equipment and optical products. Benel stocks over 3500 items and delivers these to traders and dealers in over 22 European countries, directly from it's warehouse in Hoogeveen.
Benel is one of the largest distributors of optical instruments such as binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, night vision equipment, telescopes and microscopes, by well known brands as Armasight, Explorer Cases, Vortex, Luna Optics, UST, FLIR, Byomic, Konus, Kowa, Optisan, Outdoor Club, Yukon.
