Arsenal SLR-97 Lux

Individual weapon designed for hunting and competition shooting. The SLR belongs to the firearms which action is based on the principle of conveying a part of the powder gasses through a special port in the wall of a stationary barrel and their influence onto the piston. The barrel bore is closing by turning the bolt and engaging the firing the firing stops in the receiver housing. The feeding of cartridges into the rifle is carried out from an arched plastic staggered magazine. The trigger mechanism has a striking hammer that is activated by the firing spring. All the working parts of the rifle are made of solid steel. ARSENAL JSCo was founded in 1878 in the town of Rousse as first factory meant to serve the newly created Bulgarian Army. In 1924, due to some strategic considerations, it was transferred to Kazanlak by law of the National Assembly, and was given the name of State Military Works for the production of cartridges and repair of all military equipment for the need of army. Nowadays, the activities of ARSENAL JSCo are design, manufacturing and trade of small arms and artillery armaments, ammunition, primers, powders, charges, pyrotechnic products, hunting and sport weapons and ammunitions.
